Ceramic tile is scored with a hand cutter and snapped. It is much quicker to make cuts (time is money). The hand saw is a
portable saw that is kept right by the installers side. Again there are many other factors that make a ceramic product easier
and therefore less expensive to install.

Marble and other stone tile is almost always more expensive to install than ceramic tile. This is because marble is much
more time consuming to install. With marble each cut must be made on a wet saw, taking up time going to and from the
cutting area. There are other factors, but the cutting is a large part.

If you look at the pictures towards the bottom of the page you will notice that the tile is not grouted. That is
because this client in Colorado contracted us to do the installation only, and they completed the grouting.
Working with them to give them what they needed.
